March 19. Barlow Park in Vestal is easy to drive by. I know because I drove by. I turned around and parked and looked at the mowed grass with a fence around it and wondered, why? Why did anyone bother to put a park here? So, I walked to the fence and looked down at the river. Although there was plenty of winter melt, it was still easy to walk around and get close to Choconut Creek. There was an island of stones, which I could walk to, and that's where I captured this frame.
