Of course, Canon EF is a lens, right?  Yes, but before that, Canon EF was a camera body.

Writers make a big deal about the shutter.  It was the first and last Canon camera to feature a vertical-travel Copal metal shutter.  What that means to us today is, be careful about your technician.  This is a shutter that will require a unique experience if it needs to be serviced.

My copy is wonderful to work with.  A few specs of dust in the viewfinder, but otherwise, it's awesome.  And the most important feature was, the internal light meter was excellent.  It's a spot meter, so that means that you be careful where you aim the camera.  Very careful.
